SAGUENAY, QUÉBEC - (3 février 2025) – Arianne Phosphate (la « Société » ou « Arianne ») (Bourse de croissance TSX : DAN) (FRANCFORT : JE9N) (OTCQX : DRRSF), une société en stade de développement du projet de mine de phosphate du Lac à Paul, dans la région du Saguenay—Lac-Saint-Jean, au Québec, a le plaisir d'annoncer que la Société fera une présentation lors du 2e forum annuel sur les possibilités d'exploitation des minéraux critiques canadiens ( « CCMOF ») qui se tiendra à New York, aujourd'hui, le 3 février 2025. Organisé par le Consulat général du Canada aux États-Unis, à New York, le Forum permettra à plusieurs sociétés canadiennes de minéraux critiques de présenter leurs projets et d'interagir avec des investisseurs, des entreprises et des représentants du gouvernement.
En 2024, les gouvernements du Canada et du Québec ont ajouté l'apatite (le minéral contenant du phosphate) à leurs listes respectives de minéraux critiques. Le phosphate, principalement utilisé et compris comme un minéral agricole, est devenu très important en raison de son utilisation dans les batteries lithium-fer-phosphate (« LFP »). Le LFP a connu une croissance significative tant en Asie qu'en Occident, pour une utilisation dans les véhicules électriques et les systèmes de stockage d'énergie. Aujourd'hui, plus de 95 % des LFP sont produits en Chine et, alors que l'Occident cherche à déplacer ses chaînes d'approvisionnement vers l'intérieur du pays, on observe un intérêt croissant pour les projets de minerais critiques en dehors de la Chine et dans des juridictions géopolitiques favorables.
Arianne Phosphate possède le projet de phosphate du Lac à Paul, situé au Québec, Canada. Aujourd'hui, le gisement est la plus grande ressource non exploitée au monde, capable de produire un concentré de phosphate de haute pureté et à faible teneur en contaminants, idéal pour la transformation en batteries LFP. La mine est entièrement autorisée et la Société poursuit actuellement des plans pour une installation de transformation de concentré de phosphate en acide de qualité batterie. À la fin de 2024, Arianne a reçu un investissement d'une société minière mondiale et continue de travailler avec des partenaires potentiels pour faire avancer le projet afin de répondre à cette demande.
